Charlotte Pass $10m, 10 Year Masterplan Announced

Charlotte Pass Snow Resort Pty Ltd (CPSR) today announced a 10 million-dollar, 10 Year Capital Investment program for the resort. This unprecedented investment at Charlotte Pass will see an increase in lifting capacity and the expansion of accessible terrain, through the installation of a brand-new Surface Lift towards Mount Stilwell and the replacement of the Basin Poma with a new surface lift.

Last weekend saw the opening of an exciting addition to the resort at Mt Buller with the opening of a stylish lodge a-top the Baldy ski run.

In the fine tradition of the ‘warming huts’ that dot European and American ski fields, giving skiers and snowboarders a spot to warm up and rest, Mercedes-Benz opened the doors to the Star Lodge on Saturday 30 June.

Jubilation in June as Season 2018 goes from zero to hero

What a week we have had. It started with zero natural snow on the ground and a man made patch or two. We saw it wet on Tuesday and Wednesday with a little snow up high, then things went nuts. June went from zero to hero within a matter of days.

Mt Buller’s critical water storage project funding guaranteed

The future of Mt Buller’s critical Water Storage Project has been secured with the Andrew’s Labor Government yesterday announcing a $7.5 million grant through the Regional Tourism Infrastructure Fund.

Mr Anthony Carbines, MP took the opportunity whilst at Mt Buller to celebrate the opening of the 2018 snow season, to publicly announce the funding.
