Default A very crusty Paralyser 25 Aug 2013

With the weather looking great for Sunday and Perisher probably as busy as I’ve ever seen it on Saturday we decided to do a bit of slack country. Last time it was Little Swede’s first time on skins and this time it was Mamma Swede’s turn. Jindy Sports now have some touring gear for rent which is great for anyone that just want to try it out and see if they like the concept of earning your turns, and the price is just the same as Demo skis, $80 for the day. Picked up a set of Line Soulmate 90 with Marker T10s and G3 skins for Mamma Swede and off we went.

Being Sunday and knowing we had to drive home later we decided to ignore the fact that the back of Mt P would be bullet proof and went out first thing in the morning. As it turned out it wasn’t just the Westerly aspects that had a “nice” crust on top, pretty much the whole area did Anyhow it was still a great day out as a day in the mountains always is and the top cover softened slightly later on.

Here’s a short video of the outing...

    swede...

that is bloody fantastic! Makes you want to go back country - just beautiful out there. The scenery more than makes up for a bit of crustyness.
    Winter is here!
