    1st

grab a really really really old or carp board that you don't care about

    here's one i prepared earlier

    The Board (my 1st)

    Step 1
File groove into metal edge (to stop saw blowing and edge etc)

    Step 2
Masking tape area down centre of board (to stop board splinttering)

    Step 3
Draw centre line for cut and mark cutting guide line, Clamp Board

    Step 4
    Cut Board

    The Result

well you have done it and to your first board looks like it came out ok after the cut , so do you have to put a steel edge into the cut side or just hope the ptex stays sharp or do you not need an edge as it is for the uphill only ?
    I just want to snowboard.

Stay Tuned for Future up dates

    this is the practise run

the board i want to do this to is my 2nd board older model of this neversummer premier 159

    Chris y

you just need to seal the edge so it doesn't delam straight away, i will be using epoxy

you could put an edge on the inside if you wanted to from what i have read this is a time consuming process, but i might have ago

i'm waiting for this to arrive

    Voile Split Decision Kit

it weighs about 2.7kg quite light

    heaps of flex and pop
