Default Well this is cool. Where are the snowboarders?

Great to see an area for us snowboarders.

How many snowboarders do we have on Snowatch?

    Check in here...

    Moi!

Though historically a bit 'bi' in the realms of the alpine world ;-)

Mind you since doing my knee (skiing), last season I was a blubbering mess and Im not sure you would call it snowboarding what I was doing ;-). Felt very much a beginner again. This season shall be different I tells ye!

As for my ride she's a Rome blue with SP star bindings. Really really love this board. Boots are deeluxe Lara ID. Incredibly comfy and can adjust the flex. Previous boards hammer hailyn (didn't like the way it rode), palmer power circle (loved this board great control at speed) and my very first board all those years ago was an oxygen (don't recall the model).

Been boarding on and off for 16 years...gosh if you'd seen me last year you wouldn't have known it ha!

I ride a board or ski depending who I am with, these days I mostly ski as that is what my friends and family do.

Nice one, guys. It doesn't matter what level snowboarder you are. If you appreciate snowboarding, have tried it once, or maybe have never tried it but want to in the future - of course you can chat in here. Snowboarding is about having fun, progressing your own skills, and enjoying the mountains. Everyone is welcome here.

And if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help you out.

I haven't skied since 1991 when I decided it was too difficult to continue doing both.
First board was an ex rental Kemper with 1980's fluro graphics.
I think there's similar vintage Burtons hanging on the walls in First Tracks.
(and I wonder if Tim Vlandis is still around?)
