Just got home from covering The North Face Masters of Snowboarding @ Kirkwood, young guyz and galz tearing it up on the forbidden terrain of teh Cirque... I was surprised to see how many folks competing were from overseas ..anyhow just wanted to give a Big Shout Out to Mt. Buller's Own Rachel Sheidow who killed it in qualifying , but not enuf to get the Judges to put her in the finals..(didn't miss by much tho) anyhow c'mon back next year Rachel...

Morning HF! Buller is the best, and was well represented on our Aussie Olympic Team too.

See you soon. Spaz helped me select a helmet cam and Starthaus helped with some nice Blizzard Titan Argos for pow. Save some for us. Don't forget we get 2 buddies per passholder for half price at Squaw on Tues, Wed and Thursdays, and we'll have to drag Taxi to Kwood.

I trust u got the e-mail to Kirkwood pass holders about the extra perks u get to accomodate passholders for the fire !! (didn't need to be there just have a valid pass)...and i still have a few 1/2 price wood tix as well as access to a few comps (pretty sure i still have a couple)...anyhow see ya soon...HF

All I saw was Kwood's season passholders (like moi) can bring up to 4 pals and get $10 off tix on weekends and $15 off midweek. Nice for Mrs & Lil Vet, Ms V & Taxi, but why pay $64 per adult midweek when we can:

- stay so cheap in SLT or Vista compared to Kwood;and
- ski free on season passes at Squaw (and Heavenly);
- and pals can ski for about $40 at Squaw, $50 at Heavenly and about $40 with the Northstar 2-for-1 vouchers.
