Snowatch™ began as a single page snow forecast website back in 1999 and was just a hobby for Pete. It grew dramatically each year and Snowatch™ was registered as a business back in 2004. Snowatch™ is held in high regard by the Australian snow industry. The very accurate forecasts by Pete 'The Frog' Taylor have seen the site gain exposure through many media outlets including write ups in The Sun Herald, Sunday Telegraph, Herald Sun, Daily Telegraph, The Age, Summit Sun, MX Newspapers, Canberra Times, Australian & New Zealand Snowboarding, Australian & New Zealand Snowboarding & Powderhound magazine, as well as Pete being interviewed by the Foxtel Weather Channel, WIN Television, SnowraveTV and ABC radio.
