    Default Albury to Falls Creek

So, +1 bought me a 3 day women's program for my '0' birthday. Yay! I am travelling on my own. Does anyone know less expensive and flexible options of getting form Albury airport to Falls creek? The buses work for me on the way there, but I can't get back, eek! I need to travel either after dinner on the Sunday night or really early in the morning, as I have a 10am flight on the Monday morning. Are there car hire places that'll let you take the car to Falls Creek? Is it an affordable option to get a small car & chains? Or do all the extra costs end up being similar as a snow limo? Everything about skiing in Australia is so difficult.

There are a few options, some of the car hire companies do allow you to take them to the snow, but chain hire and park entry are expensive, why not hire a car and catch the shuttle bus up from Mount Beauty, they depart and arrive at regular times that should suit your timetable.

Thanks Paul, was coming around to that train of thought also. What about getting to & from the mountain out of bus schedule times eg. 9pm or around 6am? Any ideas?

You may have to take the hire car up the mountain and just pay for the park entry and chain hire, I don't think Falls Creek coaches run down that late or up that early.

& a there is the issue, I have never put chains on but also, not all hire car companies allow their cars past the snow line. & since I have ordered epic snow for that weekend, I would have a lot of digging to do after three days, at night time. Do taxis go up?

Try Mt Beauty Taxi Service 0409573909. Ask for Brian. They do pick ups from Albury air port to Falls Creek or anywhere else you want to go.

Thanks, have been in contact with Brian, but I might ask him about a Mt Beauty to Falls quote.
