The Savoury7 is the same as the Soul7, just different top sheet, confirmed that with the sales rep at the onski tests.
as I said the friends wife usually skies a 160, but was very comfortable on the 170, I would say that the extra 10cm are needed due to the longish early rise.

I ski 180 Soul 7. They feel like a much shorter ski, but in the spring slush yesterday the whole edge engages in longer turns. Just the best all mountain ski I have been on.

I am hearing the Victorian Rossignol rep is selling them cheap direct to the public this year, doesn't make them all that attractive to stock up on them for retailers next season.

I have just seen next years (2014/2015) model Rossignol skis and prices based on the current exchange rate, the Soul 7 skis will be up $100 next year to rec retail $1200 with bindings, the skis themselves will not change at all in construction, I guess you can't improve a perfect ski.

I was just told that one of my customers won the free trip to Canada for buying a Rossignol product.

Rossignol wouldn't say who it was

Hmmm tried out a pair if rossignols first few days here and didn't have fun. Then instructor told me to trade them for something. Bit longer with more performance. Had a simply magnificent day today on Salamon rockettes. They were very heavy but otherwise absolutely amazing... I just had to think where I wanted to be and they took me there. The guy at the base said the weight was because of the heavy rental bindings.

Rossignol make a lot of skis, sad to say most them perform well below what I like, but they appear to have got it right with the current 7 series, especially the Soul 7 and the Super 7, but watch out next season (Australia 2014) for the all new Sin 7, me prediction for the hot ski of the year.

I see the new Experience series from Rossignol have the same technology as the Soul 7 and new Sin 7, this should make another great ski that little bit better again.
