    i want to buy my +1 a sledding tour for xmas. we will be in tahoe in feb so if anyone could pretty please PM me any details for good companies to go through i would be very appreciative!

    Stoked only 10 weeks (but who's counting)

    ok cool, Thanks - What is their company name (thats the part i couldnt find) i will email them to find out about what they do etc.

    We dont have any accom booked as yet, we will have our van but we have friends who work for Squaw so no doubt we will stay a few days with them in Truckee hopefully and somewhere near Heavenly when we go to ski there

    they are pretty new and don't have a website. Email them ([email protected]) (they should advertise here and in the ski club newsletter).

    joy rides in planes and choppers

    skidooing

    the paddle wheeler looks interesting.

    speed boat hire (though I don't hire them).

    backcountry trails at Heavenly: see the website

    Hotsprings at Genoa and some other place near Heavenly.

    Virginia City for a wild west town.

    bus/shuttle tours

    country drives to Emerald Bay

    yachting or motor boat cruising in these concourse wooden 1930s criss craft boats. They're works of art.

    name acts in the casinos.

    Where's Circus Circus Casino (Reno?) for circus acts for kids

    window shopping for glassware, wood carving, art, leather clothes, hippy clothes. We had a soda in a 'Happy Days' diner place that was open.

    half day ski trips with Masters Programs

    free mountain tours with instructors to help orientate you. You might meet others for a ski or a drink.

    Hairfarmr's adventure tours. If you want omg steep, p.m him.The tinsy building way down there is the top lift station of Shirleys at Squaw.

    ok so i know im a newbie in here and i didnt know hairfarmr does adventure tours :-S

    geez so much to choose from.. +1 gets to ride skidoo's everyday in winter in his job so maybe snowmobiling wont be as fun as it would be for me haha, heli skiing or a joy flight over the canyons and vegas might be a winner..

    lol.. damn america and its endless amounts of fun

    Hairfarmr's just a local skier living in San Fran, and he's happy to show people around Kikwood and Alpine Meadows.

    Gnomes, I like your idea of giving him a ski holiday. Maybe I should give one to Mrs Vet, but she'd probably hit me. I still have the lumps from the iron I gave her.

    Get him a Pacific Crest Snowcat tour of/near Squaw Valley - p.m Hairfarmr coz he knows them. Or get a dinner/dance cruise on the paddle wheeler? Or a his'n'her massage?

    hahaha a dinner/dance would be hilarious.. until he hit me! lol

    +1 is on park crew at one of the resorts here so he literally lives and breaths snow (great for me) actually his whole family do.. so snow is an easy choice but its being creative about doing something he's never done... get me?
