Something Volkl or even Elan speedwave 12/14 might also do him.

Wife and I are in Breckenridge for the entire snow season (not working so we are full time bums here!) so have bought a few things such as:
* 3 pairs each of Oakley A Frame goggles with different lens for varying conditions (hey we are here for long enough we can justify it!)
* Burton AK Jacket for wife
* Burton AK pants for wife (I had 2 outfits so she demanded the same
* Salomon Malamute boots for moi (my bloody Burton Ion boots packed out after 10 days - will NEVERbuy Burton boot again)
* Salomon Optima boots for wife
* etc etc...

God knows how we are going to ship all this home but will worry about that when the time comes... Board sales are coming up so who knows what else is going on the plastic....

Already got the new board and bindings (Burton Feelgood ES 150 with Cartels) and yesterday I picked up my new car.

Might buy another outerwear set if I see something I like and see how the boots are holding up.

Try the 1800 ski sale people, they seem to have cheap stuff. I believe you there is a ski re-use it center in West Ryde on Victoria Rd, but I can't comment cos I haven't been. On here is a used gear forum, it might be useful!

I would think it would depend on what you want the tent for to what tent would be right for you. I have a Marmot Swallow, it's a great tent but it is way to heavy for BC use

i wont be going BC...... maybe 1 day.... so weight is not an issue really, just something that will be good enough for the possibles of snow and strong winds, so i got some work to do deciding what is going to be the best for what i want to do.
