    Re: 2020 Australia season.

At the end of the day if I can have a 5 to 7 days skiing a year, that would be a season for me.

    Re: 2020 Australia season.

Really feel for you guys Paul and all small business owners doing it tough. Hopefully this thing gets nipped in the bud sooner rather than later. This year I haven’t booked anything and was going to...

    Re: Resorts opening early!

Hats off to Buller! I don’t think the word “Free” is in Perishers vocabulary.

Re: Peak snow depth for 2018

Will be interesting. Always seems to be a slight decline and then a bit dumpage in September to spike the Spencer's Creek reading. Wait and see I guess.

Re: What have people found to be great skis.

Im still enjoying my K2 Amp Rictors although being a bigger bloke i do struggle sometimes in heavy conditions. I havent got the luxury to have a quiver of skis at hand but think im due for a new set.

Re: Keeping the perfect boot setting

Will give that a go. Thanks Paul. I suppose i should count how many turns of the buckle thread from fully retracted would help and also take note on with notch i have them in too?

I was there last week and was in need of more snow but plenty is incoming by the looks of it. Was fairly icey and warm to for August. But still better than working. Back in a fortnight and looking...

Re: Vail resorts to buy whistler...

Do you get the feeling it setting up like a Cloes / Woolworths scenario. 2 majors battling it for supremacy while smaller operators start getting squeezed out?

I just looked at the Perisher cams....wow. Just goes to show how spencers creek and resort snow levels just dont add up.

Re: Goggles for flat / low light

I'd rather support local retailers and pay a little extra. That extra 80-100 dollars has a knock on effect and keeps people employed. I know if I buy something from a local business I will get the...

Makes sense as every one benefits in the end not only the ski fields. Didn't really give give snowy hydro a thought after it melts.
