that's a little warm food counter at merrits...you need to visit Thredbo more often pods just out of the shot is a pot of warm custard.
Everyone tells me that the chocolate/hazelnut strudel on the right is fabulous. But I can rareyl go past the hot chocolate croissant. The chocolate oozes out when you bite into it...mmmmmm

Great report Legs!
Going by that report and from what I've heard about Europe you would love a ski trip to Europe. Carve down perfect groomers to on slope bar/restaurant, eat fine food, schnapps then off to ski to the next restaurant..... repeat... repeat.... until you end up in another cosy old European village for Apreski. Bus home to your accom. and repeat it all again the next day but heading for a different village!

I love Exhibition too - I think it is featured in last years video I posted.
Looks like you had a great week.
And yep BH that is exactly what Europe is like - So Pods get on his case for a trip.
My fav is when the driver opens the lugagge box of the coach and sells you cheap beer and watm gluhwein (sp??) whilst you wait for everyone to show up for the ride home.
Ahhhhhhh

silver, snowbrat is 9. He would be a good skier if he didn't prefer to cruise.
Problem is he wants to do the black runs but won't focus long enough to learn how to get down them safely. For last two seasons the instructors have been trying to make him go up a level, but he refuses because I think he likes feeling safe (even if it's boring).
Anyway, by Thursday his instructor said point blank "this is silly" so I just pushed him into a private

The name of that run in the pitch Silverwitch is Exhibition of Sponars t-bar. A very nice line, best bit about it is its an area that continual gets freshened up by wind so snow quality there is usually some of the best at Thredbo.
