Yes i know it is expensive but at hotham just it scares me it costs about $20 just for a drink and some chips does anyone else experience these probs?

yeah there are some awesome little places on the hill for lunch at hot-ham
not as good as japow unfortunately (but to me that was like rolling around in a pimped out rolls royce - but still pretty good

better ways to eat up there, even if buying.
A swag from the supermarket is less than $5 and will keep you going with a warm hit of carbs (swag = sausage roll in a bread roll)Turns low, skins slow

just need to find better places to eat, on the mountain is always cheaper, try steering clear of places with high number of eaters.
