    Default Pauls Colorado (Work) trip.

I have to go to Denver to attend the USA tradeshow to see the BCA stuff I import and also next years Quiksilver clothing etc, then on to Winter park to test next years skis, I will be with the same test team I take to the Australian test days, so we should get to test a wide range of both men's and women's skis, sorry to say I am the only snowboarder in the group and won't have time to test them as well.

From Winter park we head to Steamboat for 3 days, then drive to the city of Frisco where we are based for another 2 weeks, as we have a car we will ski Copper mountain, Vail, Beaver creek, Keystone and A basin and of course my favorite Breckenridge, after Frisco I head home but the others drive on to Telluride, Silverton and Crested butte for more extreme skiing, I would have liked to go with them but I have to get back to work.
I will have my helmet cam as well as my hand held camera, I also have a nice new Suunto X10 watch which in testing so far has proven to be extremely accurate for telling me how fast I am traveling, so I am keen to see what sort of speeds I can reach on the big wide open spaces of Colorado, and how many vertical feet / metres I can get each day.

There are quite a few new skis coming out for next winter, some with new technology, I will be very keen to test these and can report back on how I found them, along with pictures if allowed.

24 hours to go before I jump on the plane, I am so looking forward to changing work locations from this hot shop to a cold ski slope.

Made it to Denver, currently at the Sheraton downtown, heading to the trade show first up in the morning to see what is new for this coming season and the next.

Been to the trade show, now sitting in a room at Winter park, great place called the Vintage inn owned by Intrawest, met up with a few other Aussies including a couple who post on the forums such as John Morgan from STM in Sydney.

I have bought myself a tracking beacon for each of my skis, I have always said someone should invent a beacon for snow skis and now they have, only been out for 6 weeks and I have one already, they have an excellent finding range and can find either the left or the right ski, and the one receiver can find a second set of skis, rec retail is $159, cheap I thought compared to a lost ski and they can transfer from ski to ski through the years.

I have only had a look from the motel, and it looks very good, ask me again this time tomorrow after I have been out all day testing skis.
