Currently living in Whistler till May 2012.

It's been a good start to the season here but we haven't seen snow in two weeks. I'm starting to miss the fresh snow.

Looking into the mist at the top of Peak.

    Drop in: Finney and Chantelle.

    Finding some lines.

    So inviting. Riding Red Chair.

In the village. Bent, Chantelle, Marc, Finney, and Beau.

Looking over to Blackcomb from Whistler Gondola.

This is Blue from our street. She likes playing in the snow. I looked after her for two weeks last season.

    (Off topic)
Mrs B (not watching where she was going) fell of the edge of one of those traverses at Blackcomb (as pic 4). Ended up doing a bit of a tree run on her butt (had to hit a tree to stop). It was spring & there were bears about down lower, made for an interesting hike back up the slope through the trees. I was waiting at the next lift unknowing - from memory I think it was my fault.

Beach house near Ulladulla at every opportunity, a week at Thredbo from 2 January (MTB riding and fly fishing) and as Vet mentioned, 2 weeks in Tahoe in March/April to dust off the skis.

Thanks for the Rusutsu tour Blutek. Sorry for the late reply, xmas madness. I found some of those places on my last trips but missed some. I'll look more closely at Isola 2 & 3 in mid January. Excited.

Well, Aussie 10 done and dusted. flights to Cham booked, staying with a friend for four nights, what a shame they have the best snow in about 30 years

Currently in Arosa Switzerland. Today the resort closed about 1.30pm when a blizzard hit with whiteout. We were up at the Weisshorn - 2650 metre level. Spent the afternoon waiting for the wind to drop so the cable car could take us back down (about 4:30pm). This was in the village when we got back:

Whistler has been getting slammed with snow lately.

Outside my house a couple of days ago...

Nev Lapwood from www.snowboardaddiction.com - covered in a couple of minutes on the chair.

    International Trees on Whistler.

    Nev scoping a line.

    Lucky getting amongst it.
