FS- hiking tent
Hi guys
Whilst I'll list this elsewhere I just thought I'll pop it on here just in case someone wants it.
I'm selling my first ever hiking tent. Has always been well cared for, in very good condition, a lot of the time carried and not used (if using huts etc).
It's a Coleman duo deluxe. Roomy, well ventilated 2 man tent with vestibules. Whilst it's not unbelievably light (my current tent at 900g is :-) it's a great little tent for 3kg. It also has a waterproof heavy duty PVC bag so you can strap it to the outside of your pack if needed. I'll pop it up on the weekend and take some photos.
$40 plus postage

Ok I just put it up in the garage quickly...can you tell I'm bored ;-)
I will however pop it up on my lovely grass tomorrow or Friday to show vestibules out etc.
Skichic I told a lie. It's actually a mostly lined inner with zip down panels on the doors to reveal the no see um mesh. The roof of the inner is double lined no see um and there are two vents that can be opened with Velcro struts or they can be shut in angry weather.
Some pics-
PVC bag. It's very heavy duty (and waterproof..tested by accidentally dropping my whole pack in a creek with it strapped to the front)

Normal bag. I feel you could buy a much better compression bag for this tent and it would go down to next to nothing as the poles are only half the length of the bag.

Gorgeous child walking a friends dog :-)

I got it (hence the smiley). It's all good. He is a solid little man though. Not particularly chubby just solid. It's the Welshman in him. Lots of front rowers on my dads side. :-) still gorgeous though (but I'm bias)
