I purchased a Smashing Pumpkins CD years ago - wouldn't work in my stereo. Took it back for another disc, same thing happened. After 5 different discs I gave up. Never had a problem with any others except that one album.
That doesn't help you though.

We purchased a Samsung Blu-Ray player this time last year. When we purchased Ratatouille it came up on the screen that we needed to have a Firmware upgrade which a local TV shop did for us under warranty. We have since watched heaps of Blu-Ray discs without any problem. The other day we purchased "Kung Fu Panda". Everything worked fine up until the main menu when we push PLAY MOVIE it freezes and wont play. No warning of firmware upgrade or anything has come up on the screen and we have watched 2 other brand new Blu-Ray disks without any problem what so ever. We took the disk back and swapped it for a new one which is doing exactly the same thing!!
Has anyone had any problems like this? Anyone know what might be the problem? We cant say it only happens on animation discs as we have watched other animation ones without any problems.
Your advice will be welcome and appreciated.
Cheers
Mick

could be a batch thing..
if its from the same store at the same time.. its likely to be from the same batch..
but other than that.. dunno..
best bet is to take it back and try it in a different blu ray player at the store.. then ull know if its the dvd or the player.
also check the forums as suggested above..~Queen of Team edribble™ ~
