I like the way they have been written off by most. I remember what happened last time they stayed 'under the radar'. First four games are away from fortress Brookvale as it gets a well overdue makeover....still see them in the top few after six weeks.

Big movers this year...

Souths (I know I'm biased but they weren't far off the 8 last year and have improved their roster significantly with Ross, Taylor and Burgess who looks the real deal...) I like that Taylor and Burgess are both young as well so will only get better.

Tigers: I've always rated Sheens he is the kind to stay and build a team... He did wonders with them in 95 and they have a better side now then then I reckon.

Roosters: Carney is a good buy.. But Smith will do well with the Latte set.... They will have something to prove and while they may not make the 8 can only go up from last year....

Going Backwards:

Newcastle: the drug thing has all but given them the wooden spoon, that and Gidley is out for like the first 8-10 weeks... they are goooooooooone!!

Broncos: Losing Hunt and also Hodges will hurt them a lot... and also Taylor from the forwards.. may not make the 8 this year.
