Jetabout has a decent cash back offer on international travel.
I ran Melb-San Fran 22-26 Feb 2010 thru them and the fare is $1119 after a cashback. The site said to fly Vaustralia. I then went to Vaust's site, and they wanted $1323 - $204 more.
Maybe there's a $200 cost saving on your trips so have a look.
Cheers

Someone here is betterer: he just scored free Volkl Gotamas for helping a US website promote itself. With a bit of luck, I'll get to use the other powder skis when I'm over there.

No problem Vet,(if you can handle a long Fat ski) what's your boot size?? ... the Ski/board fest in San Fran went fantastic , we had a great turnout and very few problems.... hooked up w some mtn freaks that run Pacific Crest Snowcats really fun(ny) guys (any Tahoe travellers should check em out online)..looks like we are taking a backcountry cat trip when your here... Im working on it now (I'm hooked in , the guy who runs it said he'ld kick my **** if I didn't come and hang out this winter, so I guess I have to take him up on it
) .. Happy trails to all

Woohoo.
My boot is 315mm long - the numbers rubbed off but I think its a size 28.5, the same size as your clown feet.
A b/c cat trip will be awesome! The Frog is a Prince
