The ugly Australian arrived at Hakuba last season, my guess is if they have to put up with this problem at least they will get better income from it.

Our club is looking at tours to Japan. So here's a family package in Hakuba in a 2 bedroom cabin. Return flights to Tokyo, free monkey tour, 7 nights in a 2 bedroom cabin, 5 day multi resort lift pass, coach transfters to/from Narita Airport, $A2700 per person.
That's $8100 for three of us for 5 days on snow. Crikey, at that price I could afford to ski somewhere exotic, like Thredbo
Or is this good value?

thats pretty exy. I think we paid around $1200/$1300 each last year for rounghly the same thing - cabin, private transfer and 6 day lift pass. I'm sure it could have be done even cheaper but that was an Ok deal with me last year. $2700 seems very execesssive, even allowing for the drop in the x rate.

price it out yourself check the flights and the accom you booked. You can get a good log cabin for max 50000 yen per day.
