They have added quite a few. Some include Salt Lake City and $1299 to Seattle! Makes that option an interesting one for possible trips up into Canada.

Will be staying tuned to this development.

I just hope they'll re-issue tickets, at no 'change flight fee' to add on new destinations like SFO (for $49) etc. on Virginamerica.

    Scrub United, Pods. Baggage fees.

I'll be looking at LAX to SFO on Vamerica, and taking the car. Then Tahoe then SFO and a nice flight back. Then a trip to Catalina Island.

PS I suspect Velocity might soon share points with more airlines.

Vaustralia and Velocity Points is teaming up this week with VirginAmerica and Vamerica's Elevate Points.

At least for new tickets (and I hope my 'old' tix for next January can add LA-SFO-LA without any penalty as a 'all the way single ticket with international baggage all the way), one can book all the way on Vaust and Vamerica to their destinations. San Fran, Salt Lake & Seatlle look interesting. Baggage goes all the way too.

V is about to announce the cancellation of the Melbourne to Los Angeles route.

They have sacked the ground staff in Melbourne that were about to start work in a few months.

    Not fare!!!!

    That really mucks my plans.

Flying Mel-Syd with domestic luggage, then waiting, then 14-16 odd hours means I'm just to bushed to wait for a plane to Reno or drive. Not happy jan.

Will they offer to put us on Qantas direct, or Air NZ via Auckland?
