and if you are in Utah DEFINITELY call into www.canyonsports.com the Ogden store only though, the others are not very good.
Most ski shops will offer discount lift tickets for all but the nearest resort
so DON"T prepay for lift passes unless you have done it through a discount lift ticket place.

Kirkwood just announced their $99 'rest of season pass' starts 28 March. They'll even let one trade in the day lift ticket towards it.The Frog is a Prince

My tip for the US-check teton Gravity to see whats what. And the incredibly long link below got me a Salt Lake super pass that was simply ridiculous value.
