I know I've been back a few weeks, but I've finally got a bit of time on my hands. None of my photos have been cropped or touched up yet, but what the hel.....I may never have time for that!

After spending 7 days in Hakuba I spent another 10 days travelling to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I thought I'd throw up some pics in the hope it might inspire someone else to experience more of this beautful country and it's people than just the ski fields.

I'll kick off with Tokyo, Hakuba and Nagano and add some more in a day or two.

Gotta love the fake food. Ice cream anyone?

Now where did I park my bicycle? One of the bike parking lots at Nagano Station.

The next three pics were taken around Ameyoko, which is a market area crowded with shops near Ueno in Tokyo.

Everywhere you look in Japan there seems to be lots of contrast between old and new that they seem to blend together so well.

These pics were taken in and around the Tsukiji Fish Markets in Tokyo. The market itself is absolutely amazing and there are lots of produce stores nearby as well as lots of eateries and street stalls.

A station. Though I'm not sure which one! The Metro in Tokyo is brilliant as are the transport services everywhere you go.

Nice. If you had to pick one - what would be the highlight away from the ski resort?
