Geez we are heading over there in like 3.5 weeks ....getting a bit worried over the lack of white stuff there atm..... :(
Anyone else heading over there? Should I be worried?

I was speaking to a couple of nihon ladies last week, and they said that traditionally, the cold air doesn't hit Honshu until around xmas time.
And looking at the snowforecast website, this looks to be right on cue.

Kort.. They are reporting around 10cm overnight there with more on the horizon.

And the forecast dump seems to have happened! Looks like the whole resort will be open by the end of this weekend, and ready for the New Years holidays.
2 weeks after that I'll be there, more snow is forecast between now and Jan 5.
