That's got to bite in the big one.
Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.

Details please. The Vets are flying out 22 March 09 and V called to ssy we're leaving 45 minutes early.
I hope V get their act, and planes, into gear.
They can do Hawaiian to Hawaii, and then Hawaiian goes to LA. Get a suntan on the way over coutesy of your credit card or travel insurer. The Frog is a Prince

V are hoping the jets are flying by 28 February. As we fly out on 22 March that gives me three weeks 'grace' if V under-estimate the delay.
I better read my Citibank travel insurance very carefully. The Frog is a Prince

I actually think they are hoping to get going before that as they have not informed us that our flights have been canceled. I think that they have stopped booking flights till the 28th cause they are thinking that worst case they will be up by then. In the mean time booking more flights just puts them at risk as I am sure that it will cost them a bit rebooking peoples flights with other airlines as well as causing grief to people by allowing them to book when they might not get into the air
So i am crossing fingers that they get up earlier if not, then we will take it as it comes I guess

From the vaustralia website link you sent through Altheau, it looks like regardless of what happens, we'll be taken care of either with a refund, or put on another carrier at their expense. Happy for that to happen, so long as we know well in advance.
They are offerring those conditions to flights booked up to 16th January which leaves a big gap to 28th Feb, so they are possibly hoping Boeing can get it sorted in time to fly 16th Jan.
