I had a look at the K2 Extremes in Jindy Sports and they felt a bit less stiff than my old Public Enemy's. There appears to be plenty of pop in the tail.

Yea, they look interesting.
I have a pair of the original extremes (200cm I think), retired now for many years of course.
(edit: actually, they still have the bindings mounted, I should take them out for a spin again one of these days.. (and probably break my leg), heh).
This new model (twintips) is not for me though.
