Thursday arvo went to The RPS board store in Elwood Melbourne and got a brand new snowboard setup for the missus.
Originally just went in to get a pair of snowboard boots for her but she got excited and had to buy everything hahaha. Though she'll end up being more comfortable with her own stuff when she heads up to buller for 14 nights in july.
Ended up leaving with: Gnu B-Real, Ride VXN bindings and DC Graphix-BOA boots. Last season stock so 30% off approx.
I have to admit I'm abit jealous about the boots hahaha now I want new ones haha.
I bought my Lib Tech T.Rice from there aswell and both times I was helped out by Fab, real nice guy, full of information and helped out a lot. the missus left the store happy so it was worth the 50 minute drive from the far west side to Elwood (for those of you who know).
All we need now is snow so she can give her new kit a burl.

Went there when they first opened. Was really tyre kicking to buy from internet O/S They couldnt compete with price even with the opeing sale on. Had a chat with the owners and told them the price I was prepared to pay. They were pretty pissed off. I was upfront with them but still they were pissed! Dont blame them actually as they had spent 45 mins with my little one and the wife on a previous visit. In short I felt so bad I bought the boots and bindings there and got Roxy board O/S.
They are good guys.

I wouldn't mind if it was Safeway or Coles but I have a lot of compassion for small businesses with 'free' stuff to try on.Originally posted by Gummy Knee:

14 nights in Buller in July you said, Jay? I'll be there with the family for a week in July...I'll familiarise myself with what your wife's board looks like and look out for her. You never feel safe with those crazy snowboarders about
