My mum gave me a pedometer that she no longer wanted. I was highly surprised how hard it is to do 10,000 steps a day, which is the recomended minimum. Does anyone else have a pedometer and find it hard to get to that many steps? I must admit that 10,000 steps is without the 1hr I spend at the gym because the pedometer keeps falling off.

If i'm up and down at my desk walking around to see people in the office instead of emailing them and walk to mac centre to get lunch or shop, then getting to 10000 steps is posible if I do a walk as well, otherwise it's difficult.
Just shows how inactive we are when we think we're doing lots

That doesn't work. Needs to be proper movement to be recorded. :(Originally posted by SnowSnow:

And there's the tasty food, full of butter and cream (so we have the energy to do the km).
Overweight waitstaff there aren't many of. It's a glamour industry.
