Afternoon all. Gorgeous day in Sydney, I was a tiny bit optimistic not taking a cardy to a birthday this morning, bit chilly in the shade.

Cleaning the over, washing clothes, then off to a 30th in Manly later on

Just arrived home from Thredbo. Flare run completed.

Was fun and a much faster pace than I expected. Nearly had a fall about half way down, but I let out a big girly scream and managed to recover.

I suspect the scream might have been fairly loud as it was heard by fellow snowatchers both in front of me and behind me. Kaz was behind me wearing one of Spaz's fantastic little helmet cams, so it may have been captured on video.

Being a Perisher skier, I must confess that at about the three quarters of the way down mark I was wondering if we'd ever reach the bottom!

Fireworks when we reached the bottom were great. I simply LOVE fireworks. There was also a bit of tossing going on at the end of the event as well. Those of you who have done it will know what I'm talking about and those of you who haven't will find out if you ever do it. I'd highly recommend for good competant skiers.

Was nice to put some snowatch names to real faces and have a chat in person.

Alas JD, I can't blame it on Bear. You see I'm terribly sensible and made sure he was in front.
