Yesterday was my first day off in a loooong time, so I decided to go skiing. From the Day Lodge you stand on the magic carpet, and get off and get onto the second gondola (First gondola won't run until 20 December)

Then you ride up 6 minutes, then ski down to a quad and ride down.

Conditions are rocky, powdery soft snow, but shallow (80 cm). Pretty nice actually to get on a set of skis again.

I put my skis back in the staffroom and won't be skiing for another week or two, not really that exciting, other than getting rock hits on my skis!

Only did two runs, downloaded on gondola, had lunch and went home.

    Enjoy!

    Count your blessings Yeti.

In the 30 degree heat this weekend, the closest to snow I get will be the ice in the Pina Coladas by the pool.
