I've had fun despite the fog and lifts like Standard/Bull Run, Federation, Tyrol and Grimus forcing many to queue up elsewhere. But what are your plans for next year - there might be a super early bird pass on offer well before Xmas as the resorts jockey for market share.
Which ski pass will you probably buy?
Are you not buying a season pass and, if so, why not?
Will you be jetting to NZ for June and September school holidays, or booking school holidays in Oz?
Are you day tripping next year or staying off mountain in motels?
Are trips to Japan and Nth America eating into your annual ski budget? If so, where will you cut back on spending.
Will you ski more days or less in OZ in 2010 than 09, any why?
Are you giving up skiing here totally and where do you get pills that cure snow deprivation syndrome?
And finally, have you worked out how to ski both hemispheres cheap and often? The Frog is a Prince

Wait till it snows, go skiing
No season pass, I will continue to sell myself off to the highest (or should I say lowest) bidder on the day.
I got 15 days skiing this season for the same price as an early bird season pass at either Perisher or Thredbo but without buying a season pass.

I think we'll be opting out of oz season 2010 to save our pennies for a family USA trip in jan 2011.

Good plan, the more people that opt out of 2010 the more likely it will be the really big snow year everyone has been waiting a long time for

Prob. gonna:
- spend 6 or 7 nights in Thredbo with the family in 2010, and only that.
- ski 4, maybe 5 midweek days depending on conditions & finances.
- stay with other family in Canberra en route.
A recent Japan trip and family Falls Creek trip blew our budget, so stayin' quite thrifty for a while.Go Sea Eagles | Mmm.. Beer.

As a family, its looking like its 1 midweek for interschools (whereas until 2007 we did every weekend). Instead theres 2 family trips for 5-6 weeks in the US.
