Anyone of you Folks out there doing it tough that has a young-un (or yourself) that would like to get into surfing???

i have a 6'4 Insight surfboard that would like a new home

it would probably suit teenager maybe 10- 15

it is fairly thin and pretty twitchy so would be a bit harder to learn on than a fish or mini mal - also means it wouldn't suit most of us oldies that have a few pounds extra on them

but for those doing it tough in the these hard economic times who can complain with free

PM me if you are interested

yes i know this should probably be in the second hand forum, but i aint actually selling it, move it if you feel the need to moddies

    Neat!
It's a bit big for Pink Princes yet, she's only 5, and would probably do better with a foamy. I took her to the beach Wed. after preschool, threw the boogie board in the car, well she grabbed it and charged into the water (she's never been in the surf were she can't stand). Out she went floating around hunting for the biggest waves (<1foot), didn't stop for over an hour. Got dumped, hit by the board but never fazed her. She said "Surfing is more fun than school dad." Makes me so proud.
I'm temped by that board, for myself, but I can afford to get new ones. Let it go to a needy home.
It does sound like a performance board though. ie impossible to learn on. So if no ones interested better it go to me than the tip!

i'll keep you in mind Spaz

i onlt picked it up because it was cheap when i bought it (2nd Hand)

once you get used to it, it is a fun board to ride, but for a beginner would give you the sh1ts if you aren't persistent
