Apparently they do do it and steal stuff like pots and pans and shiny stuff, they climb palm trees and eat coconuts and bananas and other fruit... I had a guy here today from Marshall Islands and he was telling me about these huge coconut crabs that his family ate... he said they climb up the trees and can crush the shell with their claws etc etc.. I didn't believe him at first, but there ya go, big as mother crabs I've ever seen....

Apparently they are quite good eating too, although occasionally can be poisonous if they eat too many poisonous plants et...
