the early sets were pretty quick, but the last set streteched out a bit. any 1 else watched the whole game?

Yeah it was a bad loss for Andy. That has to hurt when you look back on your career. I felt bad for him also.

they both played well especially rod****, federer wasnt at his best but he was good enough. i think it is to hard to name a best ever tennis player as the competition and courts and equipment is just too different in different eras.

What about the longest match ever at Wimbledon before tiebreaks:

22-24, 1-6, 16-14, 6-3, 11-9

The longest match ever played at Wimbledon lasted five hours, 12 minutes and included 112 games. It's a record never likely to be beaten because of the introduction of tie-breaks.
