is that coincidence or do the seasons go in a 4 year cycle?

there's a theory that the Year of the Summer Olympics is great, eg 2008.

There was a theory that we do well when Lake Eyre fills. Cripes, we'd be on grass this year if Eyre wasn't full.

And there's a theory that sacrificing snowboarders works. I like that theory coz, even if its wrong, there's one less snowboarder

The years that stand out on my memory:

1987 (i think from memory) very good year

1999 poor year
2000 best year I can remember
2004 2nd best year I can remember
2006 Took up skateboarding the season was so bad

2009 I see this year as being average..maybe a bit below.....but overall there has been some good snow to slide on

I will be at Smiggins about second week of August next year. Can you tell me what the depth will be outside the place I will be staying out is so I know what shoes to wear.
