Greetings from Santa's new workshop. Well I must be Santa coz everyone wants miracles by Xmas.

Legolas
15-12-2008, 08:11 AM
that would make you Christ Vet...or it would make you say "Christ" a lot ...

e.g. "For Christ's sake, get off my case"

"Christ knows"

"Who do I look like? Christ?"

"oh Christ I forgot..."

Morning all, "Christ" it was windy last night!!

I had roasted vegetable ravioli with my home made tomato pasta sauce, a splash of cream and fresh grated parmesan.

Now pigging out on some lucious black cherries. :D

That's enough out of you legs!! no more ideas like that. In this house the person who cooks doesn't clean up ;)

As for washing up, well I did it and I even made Pods a cup of tea as well as offering her dessert.

karen97
15-12-2008, 09:46 PM
I bought 4 boxes of cherries at work on Fri :D

Podlettte
15-12-2008, 09:48 PM
how much do you charge? ;)

Legolas
15-12-2008, 10:02 PM
Lane Cove West fruit shop had stunning looking boxes for $27 today. They would go nicely with the tray of large, superb, mangoes for $25 that we have been making our way through this week.

But little beats the sublime raspberries at the moment at $4.88 punnet!!!!!

and if you top it all with a dollop of King Island Vanilla Yoghurt (also at Lane Cove West fruito)...

...num nums

num nums smile.gif

SW I have only come back to Scarborough in recent years. It got all a bit big and overpowering for a while there. The Semillon was pretty nice tonight actually. I recommend trying it, though not if you are after the usual Hunter Sem. This one is a bit less "stringent" for want of a better word.

I have a feeling they were only $8.something a kg on Friday. He's consoled himself about missing out on cherries by eating a bowl of ice cream with chocolate topping.

YEH, JUST AFTER THAT INTERSECTION HEADING NORTH TURN LEFT.

oops, I'm yelling because it's very late and I'm trying not to wake anyone... graemlins/cold.gif

lychees good too...and in their freezer they sell this ready made shortcrust pastry that is the goods (as they say).

But also, if you're going there, you should text and we can go a bit further up the road to Longueville rd "cafe Zivelli" for a very very nice cuppa (for the north shore) and an extremely tasty toasted smoked salmon bagel... smile.gif
