I shot these yesterday and I have to say from starting surfing when I was 3 and doing it my whole life, yesterday was the best surf I have witnessed in person. I have 100s more photos but it would take me for ever to upload sorry.

Merewether for the nice left and right with ship in it and Newcastle for the others and the Cowrie hole for the right tube

That last one looks like a death barrel to me. Caught one of those back in 97, broke my board into 3 and ripped the carp out of my wetsuit and skin on the reef. I had been surfing for 11 years and never surfed since.

DHS.. if there wasn't the pool fencing there, you could almost pass it off as the Waimea shorebreak.

Awesome shots SDJ, here in the eastern suburbs all the beaches were closing out... wish we had some banks

Has been pumping in the shire mate..... Surf shark island and the point most days.... Barrels galore lately!!!

hey punter.. where exactly is that break she was surfing? All i know its called 'Ours" and is located somewhere south of Maroubra in the eastern suburbs.

Near Cape Solander..... As you go out of Botany Bay turn right and its the ledge approx 500m round from south head (well its not far I have a fast boat so it doen't feel like long)....

Otherwise drive into the national park and as you come out to the open carpark boomshakalaka there you are....

Amazing pictures, I bodyboard and can ride a mal... Havn't been for ages due to the shoulder injury. Would love to surf Straddie again soon on the GC.

cronulla has been pumping for what seems like weeks now but it still doesnt give me the fix i need.... I NEED SNOW
