Me either.... I have to go sailing as per usual.
Sooooo jealous of everyone but can't wait until our trip in August....
Hopefully the USA and Japow trip in Jan will make up for todays pain.

25 and I - 5 year wedding anniversary tomorrow, so we are heading north for the weekend to port stephens -our honeymoon haunt.

My anniversary is July 4, my very tolerent, benevolent and lovely wife has kindly let me leave Sat night to go skiing Sunday! :D
Sadly, Qld is too far and/or too expensive for a weekend trip every time the snow is good.

Yeah this is killing me too. I was meant to be going but a few things came up that I can't escape. Enjoy the pow whoever will be down there. Slash a few pow turns for me.

We don't head down until just over 5 weeks from now.
Good to see some good snowfalls.
Let's hope it stays cold, and continues to snow lots for the next 2 months!

Nope not headed to the slopes...heading to tassie instead...spending a week near burnie at the winged house...stupid bloody raffle prize.
oh well guess I shall just enjoy the views and the scenary...only a couple of weeks before a weekend trip to hotham then a couple more till a 2 week trip.
Besides its school hols in vic so wouldn't want to go anyway.....bah who am i kidding :(

smile.gif I was a bit worried last weekend when the snow was getting a bit sad because I've got this coming Monday off work :D
But now I can't wait, its going to be 3 awesome days this weekend :D
got stupid blacktie function for +1 work on sat night
was scheduled to go down this weekend as well - grrr!

I'm not there either. I broke my foot the other night and I'm in a cast for 6 weeks (a little less if my physio can help it). Late August looks possible. :mad: :cry:

Ozgirl, I did one extra run for you today and it was SWEET.
The groomed had a lovely topping of fresh snow on it and some of the runs had not been touched, so I thought, why not, I'll do a run for Ozgirl!
Your skiing was perfect, lovely turns, you were on Miss Demeanors today, just warming up those thighs for the season. Top to bottom no stopping. You then retired back to your Thredbo apartment and had a lovely espresso and dark chocolate tim tam.
Ok Ozgirl, that is it, I'm off to Canberra soon.

Crowds, well there is still accommodation at Squatters this weekend.

Sounds like a great first run of the season... Perfect turns - hopefully it is a sign of things to come!
Only 14 more sleeps and then PB night skiing will be my first 'offical' run of the season.

Our race tommorrow on Skyline was cancelled! Boo Hiss. I want to win the handicap race - I've even packed my crutches and knee brace. :mad:

Just leaving the house is torture... on the eastern distributor at 5am this morning a car full of boys in a hatchback with snowboards through the middle of the car...
Then driving on the M2 this afternoon there was a car of more boys but this time the driver was cute and there was ski's on the roof.
