Oh what a feeling - yep it was good, but I was not there, had to help out +1 with work in Canberra, but I will go outback for two days this week, so it is all good.

I don't think I have used mid-Kosci load station since 1990 but by the sounds of things there is good snow down there.

That green outfit on the grass  the whole thing was wrong (to quote pol) on so many levels!
Funny he didn't mention the "talking too" he got from ski patrol for skiing down supertrail Saturday.

Ski patrol at Hotham:
1. Skied straight past me as I dropped into the Wall of Death (closed)
2. Basically said good on us for hiking Marys and breaking the trail out (Soooo closed!)
Thats the way ski patrol should be on the last day of a season that happens to be a DOTS!!!

That really was the mood Sunday. "Soft closure" was the term. Even the ARC signs were covered assuming all the rules were thrown out the window.
I too was hooted by Patrol as I belted down a closed Supertrail. One of my customers was told to go down a VERY closed and often dodgy part of the hill until a certain T-bar opened.
With so few people around it would be easy to keep an eye on happenings.
That was Sunday.
