wireless internet at falls creek

Hi,does anybody know if you can get wireless internet at fallscreek and who covers this area the best....eg telstra/optus ect.

Telstra works at Windy Corner... no idea about anything else.

We had free wireless when we stayed at Frueauf last year, but don't know about the rest of the place.

Telstra worked fine for me at last years slide, where I stayed had wireless but you had to pay for to use it.

Had trouble finding access so took my own this year. Optus reception is fine....

We picked up 3 regular + 1 irregular wireless service near the bottom of Halley's.

The irregular & weak one was Falls Creek Hot Spot (or some such), we couldn't connect to any of them including that one.

Wheras in 2002 I believe we picked up the Hot Spot service stronger and could connect quite readily for free.

Could have been a limitation of the OS & software environ on the laptop - it had some wierd networking jizz going on.
