i just hope the whole mountain is open by the time i get there (9th July)
unlike last year (2nd july) when i got there only front valley was open and thredbo wasnt even open :(

By the way seems I will soon be the owner of Perisher going by the email I received from them. The subject heading in a email giving the receipt for a recent purchase I made from their online store was "Perisher Blue Ski Resort Purchase"

The very popular Zali’s and Roller Coaster runs are looking great and await your tracks!

Seems like a fair bit more terrain will open up! Yeah they groomed part of the ridge , it will be zalis lower rollarcoaster coming down to ridge.
Blue cow has heaps of snow.

Re the forecasts, with all due respect to frog this coming weekend could snow 30 cm plus. Thne beyond that who knows...

30 cms plus with a bit of wind will enable them to open a massive amount of terrain.
The only thing stopping them is punters..or lack of.

I guess Perisher is confident of more snow coming if Blue Cow is set to open. Would be funny/embarassing for Perisher if that 30cm doesn't come though.

They opened with only Early Starter going last year. There's heaps more snow around now. It would have to be open by the following weekend anyway, ski school programs starting, school holidays starting etc
