Amex is offering 10,000 bonus frequent flyer points if you take out a 12 month policy. Is backed by Mondial Assistance and Allianz and worked twice for me, including a first class AirNZ flight from San Francisco to Melbourne and Lil Vet's fractured cheek. I use the annual policy for NZ in the southern winter and for the US trips. It covers anyone on the same holiday like +1 and kids. The 10,000 ff points might be a nice bonus if the policy suits you,. and my 4 flights to/from the US average $200 each way + points. Why pay more??? Cheers.;)
