JAL $285 fares?

"We have a SUPER SPECIAL AIRFARE with JAL from $285 per person + taxes. Available for travel to Tokyo and Sapporo all winter season but they are selling fast and seats are limited."

Saw this from a genuine commercial tour operator: not Nadeals. I won't post their name unless they advertise on Snowatch but maybe you can look into what JAL is offering the public.

Yep I saw it but with taxes brings it upto about a grand still...thats what I read.

Been trying to get that deal through a travel company I have used before for a few days and apparently, JAL didnt release the seats they said they would. Still trying and see what happens.

Either way, still going to Japan in January next year, bring it on :)

Yep keepin an eye on them.. Also they heard they may only be for Group bookings.... Taxes are sitting at 700 odd

I phoned JAL to find out why no seats were available and they said there was only as few and they sold out, so I asked why are they still being advertised then and she could not answer that.

Btw, if the total price is $1100 incl taxes, that's what a dummy booking on Jetstar was from Melbourne.

Have been offered $1200 all up for qantas through one travel company, still waiting on confirmation on JAL but prefer who has offered the qantas price. See what happens.
