Noice!
hey frog, a couple of suggestions....
You could maybe swap sun valley for Grand Targhee...
http://www.grandtarghee.com/
and add or swap park city for Alta - skier only resort, but in the area gets the most snow due to it's location in the valley.

http://www.alta.com/
FYI - don't confuse the 2, GT is in Alta Wyoming and Alta is just outside Salt Lake City Utah
;)

possibly, if others want the same....can always change resorts due to popular demand.

Why not Deer Valley then for no snowboarders in Utah.
But I like Park City too. Oh and Solitude, and .....
Yep list goes on.

and aspen/snowmass as well

I have tried to cover different areas and not just have them all in Colorado or California. Aspen was one I thought about, might still add another row of three and that would be one of the additions.

will you do a separate canada page or a combined us/canada page eventually?

I agree- there's no point in overkill or just adding snoporn pics.
I'd suggest links to reports on road conditions though.
It'd be great too if you could put up links to info sites like
vrbo.com for owner rental rates of condos,
skilaketahoe.com for air, cars and hotels, and their '6 pak' ($45 p/day for lift vouchers at up to 7 resorts)
resort reviews (eg those on snowbomb.com).
And add a link to Gavin Jenning's office so he can check out why people are flocking o/s. ;)

Yep list goes on. Thats the problem with the US, if you wanted to cover all bases on site like this you would probably have to list 30 places!
There are a few spots with quite a few resorts very close together so only one or two resorts will give a good idea of the latest conditions ie the Wasatch and Lake Tahoe and I think Colorado has quite a few resorts in or near Summit County with generally similar conditions?
I agree BH. Eg, Heavenly is enough for Tahoe imo. Or Froggie could add links to nearby resorts' homepages so people can take a peek with ease.
Incidentaly when lil vet was 'eating' my server's qouta of downloads, the server put me on 'dial up speed' so the o/s forum page took forever to load. Annoying. So maybe too many new lard land sites will annoyingly eat too many computer kilojoules.

I will also have thread specifically for reviews for each region to help people in choosing where to go.

we couldn't see the place when we were there, too much snow falling and fog but no wind! it's really weird to ski when heavy snow is falling and there's no wind, it's so quiet you can hear people woohooing off in the distance :D graemlins/skier.gif
