So where is the snow?

Does anyone know when we should expect the snow to start falling??

It is pretty warm out there.

Today was great but it is def getting patchy out there.

BH says the temp has dropped below 0 in hotham and it's started snowing there, so we could be lucky and get very little rain ahead of the snow

Last night we had hail and rain at Thredbo.

Right now it is raining, the mountain is looking a tad worse for wear, some brown patches showing, even at Basin.

I've been sick with a gastro bug, still not up to skiing yet.

It is a mixed bag down at front valley - trying its darndest to snow.

Sounds like it was an interesting night over at thredbo. I slept like a log once I finally fell asleep. Didn't wake up til 8.

Just uplaoding a video as we speak.

It has cleared a lot (can see across parking lot compared with photos in wed) and is moderatly snowing.

Thredbo Basin cam (using the time sequence cams over yonder) shows a bit of snow was lost last night even up high with the warm temps and wind, but just in the last hour or so a reasonable accumulation has occurred.

Mt P cam shows much the same but not showing much accumulation yet this morning (about 200m lower than the basin cam) so snowline still very marginal. Given temps are only going down from here should only get better though :D

Not sure what this means but the police just left the carpark with sirens blazing. Hoping it is just to patrol the roads and not an accident. You don't hear of many on the perisher road.

It is wet though, not dry, we need a drop in temps to set it up.
