new quad chair for Copper Mountain

Copper is getting rid of an old double & replacing it with high speed quad.

Combined with the SECRET PASS (all foreigners who buy lift passes as part of a package in their home country, get to to queue jump through a special line) means even more skiing & less time standing around in queues & sitting on lifts.

Copper under new owners, Powdr Corpout of Utah, haven't tried to jack up prices for lifts or accommodation.

Can still do a week (ski in ski out) with lifts for around $500.

Other resorts, like Northstar, are lifting new steep terrain so they'll keep families with fast kids and limited budgets . What are our resorts doing??? Oh yeah, pinching ideas from Northstar like the zip line and skating rink.

Alpine lift was my favourite area to ski. great moguls under that lift.
