I just had a 4 day weekend for the +1's grannys 90th in christchurch. We went with Emirates (tickets were on special when we brought them) with a 10 and 8 year old in tow.
After spending time in Emirates economy I never ever ever ever want to go jetstar again. ever. Miles ahead of virgin and qantas. Even made JAL economy look pretty ordinary. Big TV's, a 1000 movies, squilions of games for the kids, best legroom in cattle class I've ever seen, reasonable food and power (powerpoint and usb!) for our seats. Brillant.
Next overseas trip I know whose specials I'll be seeking out....
