View Full Version : foreign affairs chases up missing tsunami folk

Foreign Affairs called people who have in the past vouched for passports for people known by Immigration to have flown to countries hit by tsunamis.

Foriegn Affairs wanted to know if the possibly missing person made contact.

Interestingly, they knew if bank accounts, credit cards, mobile phones and Facebook pages were not accessed since the tsuanmis. ForeignAffairs obviously has access to lots of info before making these calls.

And I hope the guy wasn't washed out sea. He was a mad keen surfer. :(

Sadly yes. I must assume they can't contact the family, which raises another question. I better make some calls
