HI
Can anyone help me with board hire in Niseko? i usually ride a 162, i am worried that due to the smaller stature of most Japanese that it will be hard to hire boards of this size.

cheers

Inski and Rythm have rental stores over there you will be fine, if worried you can pre book with Inski here before you head over.

having booked here and used Inski (when it was inski) triple check you will get what you actually book here. I didn't get anything like what I booked or wanted to demo, paid a premium for demo skis and got crappy old ones

162 won't be a problem - no problems getting western sizes in Niseko, there's 10's of thousands of aussies go there. Checkout Ciao and 323 as well for rental.

Is it similar at Hakuba or Shiga Kogen? Any preferred hire shops?

Hakuba - yes (Spicy Rentals). SK - not sure about large western sizing, but try the Snowcan at Ichinose or Prince Hotel West if stuck.
