Those that have been to vail...
whats a better location re resturants/bars/shops - Lionshead or Vail Village?
and I've found a boys trip stop over out of denver for an extra tour distraction.... firing machine guns! (god bless america, I love the excess and redneckness of it!)

qa? the lodgeing or the machine gun action?
Fyi, Southwest has a 'fly + stay x nights' deal for travel until 18th Feb from iirc $135 pp in Vail (and similar in Breck, Utah etc).

hey Vet, I did pose the question in a pm to skidown on the dark side but he/she/it hasn't reposnded. Not that I'm stressed about it. However....Member #12? Is that Richaard? or skimun? just who is member 12 on the darkside???
Thanks for the southwest heads up but I,m not really interetsed in next years deals as we're just pre planning for the boys 2012 trip... (yes, it takes that long to extract 5 blokes from family activities! hahaha). A few of us are starting to think Beaver Creek looks a better option than Vail at this stage. Do you know anything about Beaver Creek???
Iirc, Skidown loves Vail so I figured he'd be the one to ask. You can ask over on epicski.com too btw: they saved me from believing a rental owner's sorta truthful claims about his location.
I have 2012 in my sights too. The variety in the Epic Pass is a big lure too.
